Und wie siehts von der Sinnhaftigkeit aus, bzw. konkret, hat es dir deiner Meinung nach viel gebracht das Seminar? Weil die Ects würde ich wo anders leichter einsacken, dessen bin ich mir bewusst :D

also in meinem Einführungsseminar war die erste Hälfte des Seminars geprägt von kennenlernen, Giddens (zuhause) lesen, im Seminar drüber disktutieren und diverse "wissenschaftliche Arbeiten" (Zusammenfassung, Essay, Kommentar zum Essay einer anderen Person, Protokoll) kennenlernen und zu machen.
Die zweite Hälfte waren dann Vorträge von Studierendengruppen zu diversen soziologischen Themen. Und am Ende dann eine Proseminararbeit schreiben, ungefähr 5 Seiten über das Vortragsthema der Gruppe.

Alles in allem schon einiges an Aufwand, je nach gewähltem Thema mehr oder weniger interessant, aber für 7 ECTS eigentlich recht ok :)

die Vorlesungen und das Proseminar von STEOP I & II werden (voraussichtlich) jedes Semester angeboten, das heißt du kannst das Seminar auch nächstes Semester machen.

Im Präferenzensystem wählst du wie der Name schon sagt aus welche Termine fürs Proseminar dir am meisten zusagen, wenn du dort 3 auswählst ist es ziemlich sicher das du in einem der 3 Platz bekommst. Ansonsten gehst du einfach in eines wo du auf der Warteliste stehst, gibt immer wieder Leute die nicht in der ersten Einheit auftauchen und somit der Platz weitergegeben wird.

Zumindest für die STEOP würd ich mir keine Gedanken machen keinen Platz zu bekommen, wie es danach aussieht weiß ich leider nicht.

Nun Kann ich mir jedoch kaum vorstellen, dass es nur 280 StudienanfängerInnen für den Bachelor Soziologie gibt. Ich habe jedoch nirgends Zahlen darüber ausfindig machen können, also vielleicht hab ich hier ja nur 279 KollegInnen, dann ist dieser Beitrag wertlos und ich entschuldige mich für die dumme Frage.
Aber falls das nicht so ist, und man im Uni Wien Roulette-Prfäferenzsystem noch so hoch einsetzt und dennoch nicht in dieses Proseminar kommt, was passiert dann? Wird STEOP II auch im Sommersemester 2011 angeboten? Muss ich ein Jahr damit warten und nächstes Jahr wieder auf Fortuna hoffen? Oder soll ich gleich ganz andere Vorlesungen absolvieren und STEOP II im ersten Semester auslassen? Wenn jedoch so dringlich geraten wird das alles im ersten Semester zu absolvieren, könnte man das eine Zwickmühle nennen. Meine Schwester hat mir auf die Frage geantwortet: Willkommen auf der Uni Wien. Vielleicht weiß von euch jemand einen besseren Rat für mich, wäre nett.
