Nachdem mir vor wenigen Tagen von unterschiedlichsten Seiten
mitgeteilt wurde, dass mir für meine beiden (noch zu verfassenden)
Bakkalaureatsarbeiten nicht bis zum 30. Juni, sondern nur noch bis zum
30. April 2008 Zeit bleibt, habe ich mich - nachdem die ersten
Hitzewallungen und Schwindelgefühle verflogen waren - ein wenig
schlauer gemacht.

Auf der Institutshomepage (http://www.soz.univie.ac.at/pruefung-
geiku/) wird angeführt, dass eine Bakkalaureatsarbeit spätestens zum
Ende des nachfolgenden Semesters (inklusive Nachfrist) abzugeben sei.
Nachdem ich meine Bakkalaureatsarbeit im vergangenen Sommersemester
angemeldet hatte, wäre dies also tatsächlich der 30. April.

In einem Gespräch mit Fr. Lipp habe ich jedoch nun erfahren dürfen,
dass diese Frist für im Sommersemester angemeldete Arbeiten informell
auf das Ende des übernächsten Semester (30. Juni) angehoben wurde.
Begründet wurde dies damit, dass den im Wintersemester angemeldeten
Arbeiten mit den längeren Semesterferien zwei Monate mehr Zeit zur
Verfügung stehen.

Da diese (sehr freundliche, entgegenkommende) Lösung scheinbar kaum
bekannt ist - weder den meisten (Geiku-)Studierenden, noch den von
außen kommenden Lehrpersonen - werden wir uns darum kümmern, dies
in irgendeiner Form festzuhalten; nachzulesen ist es jedenfalls noch
nirgends.
