Hailing from Salzburg, Austria, the merry poppins are first and foremost a live band fusing Balkan styles, jazz, hip hop and 50s cabaret sounds, with a solid base of skankin’ urban roots reggae.

Their second album INSPECTOR MALOSSO is about to drop soon! Inspector Malosso will take the merry poppins along to his investigations on the Balkans in May 09. Starting off at OST Klub in Vienna, they will hop on the van and go all the way down to Bulgaria (once again…). the merry poppins will play some gigs in Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Hungary on this tour.
