It is not you, it's me: Sociological Reflections on Love and Commitment Phobia.
Why has "commitment phobia" (mostly of men) become such a central aspect of contemporary romantic relationships? On the basis of an analysis of interviews with men and women, self help manuals, and stories posted on the internet, I try to identify the discourses and values from which actors draw to make sense of commitment phobia .
