Den WKR-Ball zum Desaster machen!

Am 29. Jänner findet zum 57. Mal der Ball des Wiener Korporationsrings (WKR) in der Wiener Hofburg statt. Im WKR sind mehr als zwanzig lokale Studentenverbindungen organisiert, die sich politisch in einem Spektrum zwischen „national-freiheitlich“, völkisch-deutschnational und offen rechtsextrem bewegen. Der Ball ist mit etwa 2.000 Besucher_innen nach eigener Angabe das größte couleurstudentische Event im deutschsprachigen Raum.

Neben Korporierten treffen sich dort auch Politiker_innen von FPÖ und BZÖ, sowie Funktionär_innen etlicher rechter und rechtsextremer europäischer Parteien. Es wird deutlich, dass Burschenschaften einmal mehr als Bindeglied zwischen der bürgerlichen Rechten und dem Rechtsextremismus fungieren. Es gilt dieses europaweite Treffen von Deutschnationalen, Rechtsparteien und offenen Rechtsextremist_innen zu skandalisieren und dem WKR-Ball entschieden entgegen zu treten.
