Hallo an alle!

Vorab möchte ich sagen, dass ich es voll cool finde, dass es hier bei euch ein forum gibt in welchen man alles fragen kann und wo sich studierende gegenseitig unterstützen!

Ich überlege, im SS zu studieren und bin auf der suche nach dem richtigen studium für mich und deswegen habe ich da eine menge fragen:

1) hat man beim soziologiestudium viel philosophie?
Ich habe irgendwo gelesen, dass man das hat aber eigentlich bin ich nicht soo ein großer fan davon.

2) Statistik
ist statistik ein "hauptfach"? mich würde generell interessieren was für "fächer" mich so erwarten würden

3) was genau macht man als soziologe nach dem studium?
ich weiß man kann fragebögen erstellen, interview leitfäden, meinungsumfragen/forschungen aber da gibts ja sicher noch mehr, oder?



Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn mir jemand meine fragen, oder zumindest ein oder zwei, beantworten würde!
Ich finde es echt schwierig, herauszufinden was genau das richtige ist!

Nun ja, "Fächer" gibt es in diesem Sinn so nicht. Am besten siehst du dir einfach einmal das [url=http://online.univie.ac.at/vlvz?kapitel=2301&semester=W2010]Vorlesungsverzeichnis[/url] an. Da kannst du auch schon herauslesen wie das Studium aufgebaut ist, übersichtlicher ist es allerdings beim Student Point angegeben (http://studentpoint.univie.ac.at/index. ... tx_spl_pi1[showUid]=14&cHash=9896dcbfb9)*.

Wenn ich deinen Philosophie-Begriff jetzt als Theorie deute, dann kannst du dir bei der Studentpoint-Seite schon ein Bild davon machen in welchem Verhältnis es zur Praxis (im Sinne von Methoden) steht.

Wenn du dich nur für Statistik interessiertst, dann solltest du wohl Statistik studieren (http://studentpoint.univie.ac.at/index. ... tx_spl_pi1[showUid]=16&cHash=d604857e78)

Naja die frage wegen statistik ist eig nur, weil die meisten die ich kenne sagen, dass es voll schwer ist!

Dazu hätte ich auch noch eine Frage: In welchen Bereich möchten die angehenden Soziologen hier mal arbeiten?

Ich hab mal ein bisschen recherchiert (überlege im SS mit Sozi anzufangen bzw zu wechseln) und würde gerne mal in dem Bereich Personalwesen/HR Recruitment arbeiten. Hab schon ein paar Praktikastellen in dem Bereich gefunden (in D), die auch Soziologen ansprechen. Ich stelle es mir aber schwer vor, in diesem Bereich mal Fuß zu fassen, wegen den vielen BWL-Studenten ect. Wie seht ihr das?

ich habe auch im sommersemester begonnen und es hat bis jetzt alles super funktioniert :)
möglicherweise solltest du aber schon mit statistik im 1 semester beginnen (da statistik 1 nur im sommersemester und statistik 2 nur im wintersemester angeboten werden), damit du nicht mit den voraussetzungsketten probleme bekommst.
